Dana has been teaching and inspiring young minds for over nine years and holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Education. When she is not teaching or creating, Dana enjoys spending time with her husband and son, sharing the love for the beach and the beauty of nature with them.
Her fascination with shark teeth began during her college years in Jacksonville Beach. Since then, Dana frequently goes to different Florida coasts and rivers looking for these treasured fossils. Dana hopes to inspire children to get outside, explore nature, and search for their own shark teeth. She also believes in helping every child find where they belong, encouraging them to discover their own "shark tooth community."
